Curtain Fabric Wholesale — Common Questions
What is your minimum order for wholesale curtain fabric?
Stock fabrics ship from 50–100 m. Custom-dyed colors start at 800 m per color — one full dye lot. Custom jacquard developments are quoted per design.
Can I get swatches before ordering?
Color cards and fabric swatches are free. Tell us the fabric line and we send them; you cover the courier, on your own account or ours re-invoiced.
A lab dip matched to your own reference color takes 3–5 days and is quoted per color. Request either through Sample Support.
How long does production take?
Bulk production typically takes around 30 days from deposit confirmation. Custom-woven fabrics add 15–20 days on top of that. Sample preparation is normally 3–5 working days. International shipping time is confirmed separately and is not included in the sample preparation lead time.
What are your payment terms?
30% T/T deposit with 70% before shipment, L/C at sight, or DDP terms where available.
How do you ship fabric rolls?
FOB Ningbo / Shanghai. Full containers for volume orders; LCL consolidation keeps smaller wholesale orders economical.
Do your fabrics meet fire-retardant standards?
If NFPA 701, BS 5867, or another fire-performance standard is required, confirm the target standard and applicable test documentation for the selected fabric before order approval. Tell us your market’s requirement and we’ll confirm the matching spec.
How much fabric fits in a container?
At 280 cm width, a 20ft container holds roughly 15,000 m of 300 gsm coated blackout, or 60,000–70,000 m of 50 gsm sheer voile. A 40HQ holds about 2.4× those figures.
Fabric is volume-bound, not weight-bound: a full 20ft of blackout weighs around 12.6 tonnes against a 28-tonne payload limit, so plan the booking on cubic capacity. Exact loading is confirmed against roll length and packing at order.
