Dairui produces blackout curtains in three construction systems — coated, composite, and physical (woven) blackout — covering light blocking from room darkening (70–90%) to 100% total blackout.
Fabric weight ranges from 180–400 gsm, with custom heading styles, sewing standards, and finishing for both online retail and project orders.

Every Dairui blackout curtain comes from one of three production routes. The choice depends on handfeel, drape, end-use, and order volume — not on price alone.

180–280 gsm · DTC, dropship

240–320 gsm · Hospitality, premium

280–400 gsm · Premium retail
Every Dairui blackout curtain can be customized across heading style, sewing standard, and functional add-ons — specified per order from our fabric inventory.
Seven heading styles available, all heat-set for permanent shape memory — pleats and waves hold their geometry after washing.
Construction follows standard B2B specs, with custom dimensions on request. Heat-setting locks geometry at the finishing stage.
Performance treatments applied at the fabric or finishing stage. Compliance certificates issued per order.
Trusted blackout curtain solutions for brands, online retailers and wholesalers worldwide.
A leading online home décor brand approached us for a curtain solution optimized for e-commerce buyers. We developed a 3-in-1 heading blackout curtain, combining:

A Dairui client running an independent e-commerce site required 100% blackout curtains with Velcro installation. We customized a 270gsm flame-retardant fabric and used genuine 3M adhesive Velcro for strong, reusable attachment. The curtains were produced in 8 custom sizes, tailored for easy online sales.
Industry standard: a single blackout curtain panel blocks 95–100% of light. True 100% requires both the right fabric (coated, composite, or physical blackout) and proper installation — ceiling mount or wall-to-wall coverage with overlap or return panels at the edges. Light-blocking percentage on its own is a fabric spec, not a system guarantee.
Industry standard: room darkening fabrics block 70–90% of light, while blackout fabrics block 95–100%. Room darkening is typically achieved through heavyweight fabric alone, while blackout requires either a coating, a composite construction, or yarn-level woven blackout. Dairui produces both categories — confirm your light-blocking requirement with our team during inquiry.
Side leakage is a system issue, not a fabric issue. To eliminate it: (1) use ceiling mount or wall-to-wall installation rather than window-frame mount, (2) specify return panels or overlap at the edges, and (3) consider a track system for ripplefold or S-fold headings, which give continuous coverage with no gap. We can recommend the right system for your project during inquiry.
Both are valid. Coating applies a blackout layer directly to the back of the face fabric — cost-efficient, simpler construction, slightly stiffer handfeel. Lining (composite blackout) bonds two fabrics together with a TPU film or coating between them — softer drape, higher cost, more design flexibility because face and back fabrics can be specified independently. Dairui produces both routes; the right choice depends on your end-use and budget.
Dairui blackout curtains range from 180 gsm (lightweight, drape-focused) to 320 gsm (heavyweight, hospitality and project use). DTC retail typically falls in the 200–260 gsm range. For 100% blackout with soft handfeel, 240 gsm coated polyester or composite linen-look is a common choice. Heavier weights improve thermal insulation and sound dampening but increase shipping volume — confirm your priorities with our team during sample selection.
Standard MOQ for in-stock fabrics is 200 pieces per style and per color. For first-time customers, trial orders from 50 to 100 pieces are available subject to discussion. For custom-woven fabrics, the minimum is 800 to 1,000 meters. Dropshipping orders (1 piece minimum) are available through our dropshipping service line for online retailers and Shopify brands.
Bulk lead time is 30+ days from deposit confirmation, depending on order volume, customization scope, and current production schedule. Sample lead time is 3–5 working days, excluding international shipping. Hospitality and project orders with NFPA 701 flame-retardant certification or other compliance requirements may require an additional 5–10 days for testing and documentation.
