The Challenge
A hotel cannot trade off two things against each other: guest-room light control and fire safety. Every window needed true blackout plus a sheer layer for daytime — and all of it had to satisfy the property’s flame-retardancy requirement — tested to Canada’s CAN/ULC-S109 standard — backed by documentation the buyer’s team could actually verify. Across 230 rooms, consistency and on-time delivery on the full order were just as critical.
Our Solution
We supplied flame-retardant hotel blackout and sheer curtains, backed by third-party CAN/ULC-S109 flame-retardancy test reports the purchasing agent’s team could review before committing. To be sure of exactly what they were buying, the client visited our factory for an on-site audit — inspecting the production line, quality control, and materials in person. With the specification locked and verified, we produced the full 230-room order to a single consistent standard.
